There isn’t nothing better than waking up on a rainy Sunday morning, choose a new and wholesome cafe and check out their menu.
I keep a list of ‘must to try places in Sydney’ on my phone that I update every week. Am I the only one that does this?!
There are so many good restaurants/cafes in Sydney and everyday there seem to be more. In this way I don’t miss out anything!
Last weekend my partner and I tried Gratia, a non-for-profit cafe in Surry Hills that donates one hundred per cent of their profits to charity. In this way you get to enjoy delicious meals and help those in need. It’s a win-win!

Erik (my partner) had the crispy chicken sandwich and I got myself a nourishing bowl (I always order bowls, they are the best because packed with lot of vegetables). For drinks we ordered the lavender white hot chocolate and the matcha smoothie. The smoothie was so good that I had to recreate my own version at home and share the recipe with you.
It’s super simple and it will leave you energised, hydrated and satisfied.
Perfect for these crazy moving days!
Detox Matcha Smoothie

2 Handful of baby spinach
1 tsp matcha powder
400ml coconut water
1 tsp coconut butter
10 mint leaves

Notes
You can also add cucumber if you’d like. I am not a big fan of cucumbers but it will certainly add freshness to the smoothie.
